How can I find point of zero shear force with an acentric point load on simply supported beam?

Zero Point Scam or The Genuine Deal?:
Question by furqan: How can I locate point of zero shear force with an acentric point load on basically supported beam?
I necessary to now how to calculate point of zero shear force (i.e., maximum bending moment)

Answer by SAGEYou have to be a lot more clear but are you asking an eccentric point load on a basic loaded beam, where is the shear zero? If that is the case, you take the moment about any support which the sum would equal zero.
